These 3.9” thick (100 mm) sections include thermal breaks, which provide excellent insulation with a U-factor of 0.50 W/(m²K).  The combination of extremely insulated sections with a fast opening speed up to 80 inches per second, and operational efficiency is one less thing to worry about.

The springless, direct-drive Steel Ranger™ 9500 LS is an effective replacement for outdated rolling steel doors on door openings with no need for high speed, but with high-cycles daily.  This door allows a cost-effective way to match the aesthetic of it's high-speed counterparts. Activation is with a constant contact push button, and opening speed is 8 inches per second.

The basis of design for the Speed-Guardian™ Series is the Speed-Guardian™ 5000 C U 42.  This model is available for door opening dimensions up to 21’4” wide X 21’4” high or 24’0” wide X 16’0” high, and with any of our Speed-Guardian™ track designs. 

Allow more natural light into your building and increase visibility from inside to outside with the Speed-Guardian™ 5000 CV 42.  Constructed with a complete panel of vision slats, this model is available for door opening dimensions up to 20’0” wide x 14’0” high, and with any of our Speed-Guardian™ track configurations. 

The Speed-Guardian™ 5000 LP is designed to be low-profile, so it fits into areas with very limited side room.  The low-profile (LP) springless track fits into as little as 8” of space on each side of the door opening and is available for use on door openings to 16’0” wide x 16’0” high.

The H high lift track configuration makes it possible for the door to be installed behind or above supply lines or crane tracks. The 1-5/8" (42 mm) thick panel is guided in horizontal tracks and can be diverted flexibly depending on the application. Thanks to the belt mechanism with counterweights, the door is especially low-wear and long-lasting.

With the V vertical lift track configuration, the 1-5/8" (42 mm) thick door panel runs vertically along the building wall allowing for very quiet and wear-free operation. The belt mechanism with counterweights guarantees a long service life with constant use. 

Either the U or CV door configuration may be paired with the vertical tracks for the ideal fusion of looks and customization.

The Speed-Guardian™ 5000 CV TD HR has a complete panel of vision slats which allows more light into the building and more visibility from inside to outside. This attractive design is a popular choice of retail automotive dealerships because of its aesthetic appeal and security. When any amount of vision slats are required, our double door hurricane solution combines our Speed-Guardian™ 5000 with a tandem solid hurricane rated shutter door which meets the Class 5 hurricane rating.

The Speed-Guardian™ 4000 C HR 42 is impact resistant, has a design pressure of +/- 50 psf, and earned FBC approval # FL17220. The 4000 C HR 42 is approved for use outside HVHZ and is also approved for Missile Level D / Wind Zone 4 / Class 4. This single door solution is a completely solid door with no vision slats. The 1-5/8" (42 mm) thick double-walled panel slats are made of uninsulated anodized aluminum, with internal reinforcements.

The springless, chain drive HD-CD 2530 is designed for parking garages where extremely reliable, high-cycle operation is a must; all the same dependable HD Series features plus a low headroom design are wrapped into one. 

Heavy manufacturing, steel, pulp & paper, waste management, oil & gas, and mining are common industries that specify the HDXL.

Suitable for applications up to 47 feet wide and 45 feet high, the HDXL is equipped with a high-performance helical gearhead operator, which opens the door at a speed of up to 12 inches per second. 

Ideal for no-nonsense dock areas in distribution, commercial, and manufacturing applications, the HD-M 1000 provides fast and reliable 4.5:1 manual chain hoist operation and impact release performance. Suitable for applications up to 10 feet wide and 12 feet high, the inboard spring assembly has a 25,000 cycle rating, which easily accommodates low cycle door openings.

Designed for door openings up to 25 feet wide, the springless and direct-drive HD-DD 2555 offers the benefits of our heavy-duty, HD Series rubber door design and fits into locations with as little as 20 inches of headroom. 

Springless and direct-drive, the HD-DD 3065 is a full-on, heavy-duty rubber door made for extreme environments and large door openings up to 30’0” wide.  With the elimination of counterbalance springs, direct-drive models are reliable for environments that require high-speed operation on high-cycle door openings, because springs are normally the main wear item on a door.

The HD-HD 2565 offers a hybrid alternative with a lighter rubber curtain or an 88 ounce fabric curtain. It's a great fit for applications such as transit, airport, and rail maintenance shops.

Demanding high traffic door openings are no match for the HD-CD 3025 high-performance door system. A springless drive significantly increases the volume this door can handle, and as a result, reduces the amount of required maintenance.

Part of Hörmann’s HD SERIES chain-drive / sprung models, the HD-SD 3050 is equipped with a high-performance helical gearhead operator, which opens the door at a speed of up to 48 inches per second. The drive system is controlled by a programmable PLC and variable frequency drive (in a NEMA 4 enclosure) with soft start and soft stop that provides smooth, quiet operation for reduced wear-and-tear and long service life. 

In harsh, heavy industrial environments, the HD-SD 3020 economy rubber door gets the job done.  A basic right-angle gearhead operator opens the door at a speed of up to 18 inches per second, and a NEMA 1 operator mounted control box with relay logic and contactors is standard.  Upgraded control options are available.

The CHILLFAST door system is a unique solution for cold rooms, chillrooms and freezers.  Extremely fast operating speeds minimize temperature loss in cold spaces by reducing the amount of time the door is open.  Remaining flexible in extreme temperatures down to -22°F, the unique door curtain is made of 22 ounce reinforced vinyl exterior layers, dual reflective foil layers, sealed air bubble insulation with patented CurtainLoks™.

For door openings that are larger than the dimensions for a Speed-Master® 1600 L, the Speed-Master® 1600 XL is a great fit.  You won’t miss a beat with fast operating speeds and choice of six colors (58 ounce per square yard panel material is available in yellow, orange, red, blue, gray, or white).  And for extra windy locations, panel windlocks are an option.  Two vision sections are standard for excellent visibility in busy environments.

Innovative SoftEdge door technology is the heart of the Speed-Commander™ 1400 SEL19.  The breakaway SoftEdge bottom profile with integral wireless panel reversing edge reduces the likelihood of damage to the door and passing loads, resulting in minimal downtime.  If the bottom profile is pushed out of the side guides by an impact, the door stops immediately.  Thanks to this SoftEdge / wireless breakaway technology, the door can be operated for several years without the need for maintenance, regardless of the number of door cycles.
